PURPOSE: To provide a diffuse spectrum pulse position modulation system which is effective even under a multipass phasing. CONSTITUTION: In a transmitter, data is sectioned for every log2 M bit and the data is inputted in a difference coding pulse position generator (DPPM) 4. In the DPPM 4, a difference coding is performed for continuous log2 M bit data and a pulse is generated at the position of the corresponded frame based on the obtained data. By making the pulse as a trigger, an L chip diffusing code is outputted from a PN signal generator 6. This signal is multiplied by a carrier wave fc and the signal is transmitted. A reception signal is inputted in the PN matched filter 13 which is the same as the diffusing code used on a transmission side. When the pattern of an inputted diffusing code and the pattern of the PN matched filter 13 are matched, the pulse of one-chip section is outputted. Because the position of the pulse is outputted to the slot corresponding to transmission information of frame M slots, the position decision of the pulse of the output is performed and the corresponded data is defined as reception data. |
