PURPOSE: To securely make a connection from the master equipment to the slave equipment of the cordless telephone set having no control channel even if another cordless telephone set is used nearby. CONSTITUTION: The slave equipment 1 in wait mode alternates a state wherein a request for connection from the master equipment 2 is expected over a specific small number of channels out of plural channels with a sleep mode. When the master equipment 2 sends a request for connection to the slave equipment 1, it is checked whether or not a small number of channels are used by other cordless telephone sets. When the channels are used, the slave equipment 1 is instructed to change the channel over which the request for connection is expected to another free channel through a small number of channels, and a free channel among the channels is used to send the request for connection to the slave equipment 1. |
