<p>PURPOSE: To prevent a hoop from deforming or being broken by arranging a hoop receiving member on a frame rotatably opposite clamp metal fittings and clamping the hoop between the hoop receiving member and clamp metal fittings. CONSTITUTION: This foot pedal is equipped with the frame 4 where a foot board 16 is arranged, a beater 14 which rotates as the foot board 16 is stepped on to beat a drum head, and the clamp metal fittings 5 which press and fix the hoop 3 of the bass drum 1 arranged on the frame 4. Then the hoop receiving member 22 is arranged on the frame 4 rotatably opposite the clamp metal fittings 5, and the hoop 3 is clamped between the hoop receiving member 22 and clamp metal fittings 5. The hoop receiving member 22 is freely rotatable and rotates according to the angle of the hoop 3 when the hoop 3 is mounted to come into surface contact with the hoop 3. Further, the hoop receiving member 22 is formed in an inverted triangular shape when viewed sideways, and then the member never interferes with the frame 4 even when greatly rotating forward and backward, so that it can be adapted to a large setting angle of the bass drum 1.</p> |
