A goods vehicle or motor vehicle trailer has a body with a length of 2 m to 14 m, comprising a frame of steel frame bars, a base for receiving the load being transported and wall and roof components. At least one OSB (oriented strands board) wood particle board (2) which is formed of five layers (3) and pressed, the layers (3) comprising strands (4) alternately crossing in the longitudinal and transverse direction from layer to layer and forming a single-part jointless body. Strands are 80-120 mm long, 1.5-3 cm wide, and 0.5-0.7 mm thick. The thickness of the board depends on the max. wt. to be carried. The surface of the board facing the load is pref. coated with phenolic resin, partic. coating of phenolic resin impregnated paper.
