System for drying compressed air in regions subject to frost

Compressed air is dried by a system in which, heated by being compressed, it is precooled by the outgoing cold compressed air and then passes into a heat exchanger, which is integrated in a condensate separator/diverter. The compressed air is cooled below its dew pt. in an air cooler, condensate being separated and drained off in a condensate separator/diverter. The compressed air is then heated by the air entering in a superheater and then passers to the consumer. The entering air acts as frost protection for the condensate.
