The flexible support (7,8) leads through the housing (1) along a track with a deflector. A clamp (9) movably positioned in the housing engages with the support. A pretensioning spring (11) fits into the track of the support and pretensions the support when it engages with the clamp.The clamp is moved into the clamping position by a movement of the support caused by the dead load applied to the object. A slight pull on the support overcomes the pre-tensioning force of the spring, and releases the clamp from its engagement with the support.
