PURPOSE: To provide a method for bonding a plastic antistatic plate for a work tank having an inspection hole or for an inspection hole which offers excellent bond strength. CONSTITUTION: The antistatic surface of a plastic antistatic plate is polished to expose the surface of the plastic substrate in its site to be bonded. Subsequently, the side end face of another plastic antistatic plate is abutted against and bonded to the exposed site. Unlike a conventional bonding method wherein bonding is conducted after removal of a coating with a solvent, the method of this invention can eliminate problems, involved in the conventional method, that is, contamination of the surface of the antistatic plate and large manhour for bonding work such as the time taken for removing the solvent, while maintaining high bond strength comparable to that in the conventional method. |
