PURPOSE: To prevent a wrinkle, damage, etc., of a thermoplastic resin sheet on a surface of a molded product by a method wherein the thermoplastic sheet preformed according to a shape of the molded product to be molded is placed between a male mold of a molding tool and its female mold; a reinforcing fiber is placed thereon; the molds are clamped; and a thermosetting resin is casted therein and molded by setting. CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic sheet 3 preformed according to a shape of a molded product to be molded and a reinforcing material fiber 4 are placed between a male mold 1 and a female mold 2 of a molding tool consisting of a pair of the male mold 1 and the female mold 2. After clamping the molds, a thermosetting resin is casted from a casting inlet 5, and molded by setting. The molds are opened to obtain the molded product. Further, in order to prevent slippage, a wrinkle, and damage of the thermoplastic sheet 3 in molding, a method of strongly fixing by the molding tool wherein india rubber of an angular section which forms a ring state by going around an outer peripheral part of the female mold 2 one turn is provided to various soft pinch structures provided to a peripheral part of engagement of the male and female molds, is used. |
