PURPOSE: To provide an excellent visual confirmation ability, and dramatically enhance the visual confirmation ability especially at night and mount the road sign swiftly and easily. CONSTITUTION: A mark 2 is displayed on the top of a sign block 1. The mark 2 is installed on a sign-shaped projected stripe 3b of a mark member 3 half embedded around the tip of the sign block main body 1 in such a fashion that the tip of the projected stripe 3b is exposed. The projected stripe 3b is a cast member integrated with a base board 3a. The sign member 3 and reinforcing metal-made porous plate 5 are set in a molding die which is not illustrated herein, thereby molding a molding material so that they may be formed in one piece. During this molding work, a blind person guide projection 4a is formed on the tip of the block main body 4 in one piece. Furthermore, small pieces of bright and reflexive member are mixed in the sign member 3, which makes it possible to enhance the visual confirmation ability at night. |
