PURPOSE: To provide the layered gelated food packed in a hermetically sealed container and having a preferable layer structure, and further to provide the method for producing the same. CONSTITUTION: The layered gelated food packed in the hermetically sealed container and comprising the layered gelated food received in the hermetically sealed container having an openable lid, comprises an upper layer part placed in the container upper part near to the lid and comprising a gelated or sol-like food or paste food high in the specific gravity, and a lower layer part apart from the lid and comprising a gelated food low in the specific gravity. And the method for producting the layered gelated food packed in the hermetically sealed container comprises charging a gelated food material low in the specific gravity and subsequently a gelated or sol-like food material or paste food material high in the specific gravity in the food container whose upper part can be hermetically sealsed with the lid, hermetically sealing the container, turning over the container to reverse the upper layer and the lower layer so taht the food materials are separated into layers in response to the difference between their specific gravities, and subsequently gelating the charged food materials in the state. |
