PROCESS FOR PREPARING POLYETHER ETHER KETONE MEMBRANE

A process for preparing a polyether ether ketone membrane usable as ultrafilter or microfilter at high temperature. This process comprises dissolving a polyether ether ketone in a solvent, casting the resulting stock solution for membrane formation into a desired shape, and bringing the cast material into contact with a solidifying medium for polyether ether ketone to form a non-sulfonated polyether ether ketone membrane, and is characterized in that concentrated sulfuric acid is used as the solvent and the stock solution is kept at a temperature of 15 DEG C or below until the beginning of membrane formation.
