<p>A safety switch (1) has two electrically conductive strips (2, 3) which are held at a distance (6) from one another by means of electrically non-conductive spacers (4, 5) which run on the longitudinal edges. The strips (2, 3) are flexible, so that they are able to allow the distance (6) to become zero under the influence of an external force. This contact-making changes the conditions in the associated electrical circuit and is used for control purposes. The strips (2, 3) are centred with respect to one another within a flexible tube (7) which is shrunk into contact with the strips. The material of the flexible tube (7) is electrically insulating and flexible. The safety switch (1) is bonded onto a carrier (8) which can be moved by motor and whose drive can be interrupted by the safety switch (1). <IMAGE></p> |
