The invention relates to a process for moulding closure profiles along the longitudinal edges of a shrinkable plastic web (8) for a shrink-sleeve. The moulding of the closure profiles (10) with a mushroom-shaped cross-section takes place by a continuous forming of the longitudinal edges around a rod-insert.
