PURPOSE: To manufacture a multi-color heat-sensitive recording material by laminating a heat-sensitive recording layer composed mainly of a dye precursor of electron donating property and a developer of electron accepting property of another heat-sensitive recording layer composed mainly of an aromatic isocyanate compound and an imino compound. CONSTITUTION: An aromatic isocyanate compound is an addition compound with phenol, lactum, oxime or the like. What is called block isocyanate can also be used. An imino compound to be used is provided with at least one or more imino groups and is reacted with an aromatic isocyanate to generate a colored substance at the time of being heated, and the imino compound is a colorless or light-colored compound at the normal temperature. A heat- sensitive recording layer composed mainly of a dye precursor of electron donating property, colorless or light-colored usually, and a developer of electron accepting property is laminated on another heat-sensitive recording layer mainly composed of the aromatic isocyanate compound and the imino compound. |
