PURPOSE: To generate a connection surface which smoothly connects fillet surfaces by setting an outline by connecting the end points of the fillet surfaces to be connected and setting a curved surface in the area surrounded by the outline. CONSTITUTION: The intersection P2 of the outline of a fillet surface F1 and the outline of a fillet surface F2 is found. Then, the contact point of an arc on the fillet surface F1, passing the point P2, with the curved surface S1 is found as P1. Similarly, the intersection P3 of the outline of the fillet surface F2 and the outline of a fillet surface F3 is found, and then the contact point P4 of an arc on the fillet surface F3, passing the point P3, with the curved surface S4 is found. Then, constitution points are generated on the outlines L1 and L2 at specific intervals so as to generate the connection surface C surrounded by an outline set between the points P1 and P2 on the fillet surface F1*, an outline set between points P3 and P4 on the fillet surface F3*, and the set outlines L1 and L2.
