PURPOSE: To obtain excellent rubber elasticity, hardness and elongation rate and to improve developing property with water by using such a fine particulate copolymer having modified surface obtd. by reacting a particulate copolymer containing specified carboxyl groups with a specified compd. CONSTITUTION: This fine particulate copolymer is obtd. by modifying the surface of a particulate copolymer containing carboxyl groups with a compd. having reactive functional groups and C1 and C24 branched or straight-chain satd. hydrocarbon groups. The particulate copolymer containing carboxyl groups is prepared by polymn. of a mixture of monomers containing 10-95mol% aliphatic conjugate dienes, 0.1-30mol% carboxyl group-contg. ethylene-type unsatd. monomers, 0.1-20mol.% compds. having plural polymerizable unsatd. groups, and 0-30mol% other polymerizable monomers in total 100mol% of the mixture. The resin compsn. for a flexographic printing plate contains the fine particulate copolymer above described which have whiskers on its surface to cause entangling among particles, photopolymerizable unsatd. monomers, an amino group- contg. compd., and a photopolymn. initiator. |
