PURPOSE: To provide a receiving method and device in which the characteristic of each reception system is not required to be completed and three reception systems or more are placed. CONSTITUTION: A sampling is performed for each reception signal with each symbol period T by each antenna 11m (m=1, 2,... L). A delay detection is performed for each signal in each delay detector 12m . As for the delay detection outputΔϕ'm ,n ,Δϕn that the value that the difference ofΔϕ'm ,n and all the phase difference candidatesΔϕn is weighted and synthesized becomes a minimum is outputted as a decision resultΔΦn in a quasi-maximum likelihood decision part 14. The square of the difference of thisΔΦn andΔϕ'm ,n is determined in each phase noise estimation part 15n . The value corresponding to this is defined as the weighting coefficient at the next point of time n+1 in the quasi- maximum likelihood decision part 14.
