FIELD: soldering equipment, namely, apparatus for tinning tubes used for making radiators of transport vehicles. SUBSTANCE: method involves feeding tube one after another, fluxing them in gaseous medium and subsequent flow coating tubes by solder, before flow coating tubes at places of their contact creating gaseous pressure more than pressure in the zone of flow coating. The apparatus for tinning tubes by flow coating includes a unit for tinning with a vessel in the bottom of which an opening provided for feeding solder and a window for feeding tubes, a fluxing chamber connected with the tinning unit in such a way that the distance from an opening axis for feeding solder to an inlet opening of the fluxing chamber is more, while up to the output opening is less the length of tinned tubes. Such structure of the apparatus allows to prevent solder penetration inside tubes without additional attachments and automatic means. EFFECT: increased service life of the apparatus without stopping it for adjustment and maintenance; simplified exploitation. |
