PURPOSE: To improve the earthquake-resistance property by providing a vibration detecting means and changing an operation state corresponding to the earthquake, etc. CONSTITUTION: The control part 1 is consisting of CPU or the like, by which the whole copying machine is controlled for performing the copying operation corresponding to the input from the operation part 15, and the operation of the respective part composing the copying machine is controlled by essentially controlling the respective control part 5, 7, 9, 13 and so on. Then, as the vibration detecting part 27 for detecting the vibration, an acceleration sensor of a strain type is used in this case, however the arbitrary acceleration sensor such as an electrostatic capacity type, a piezoelectric type or an actuating transformer type, and moreover the earthquake sensor of another vibration sensor may be used. Now, the vibration is detected by the vibration detecting part 27, and the detection output corresponding to the detected vibration is outputted. Moreover, the control part 1 is made to correspond to the earthquake and so on by changing the controlling state in accordance with the detection output. |
