PURPOSE: To provide a window reflection preventive optical filter for vehicles for display apparatus and display panels existing particularly in the rooms of vehicles, etc. CONSTITUTION: This window reflection preventive optical filter for vehicles is formed by continuously arranging fine triangular prism projections having a tooth edge shape in section in the same direction on the front surface of a transparent substrate 7. The spacings between the adjacent triangular prism projections are in a range of 10 to 200μm and the vertex of the saw blades and the remaining one angle are respectively in a range of 40 to 80 deg. and 10 to 40 deg.; further, the surfaces on the side opposite to the surfaces arranged with the triangular prism projections are provided with light shieldable stripes. The width of these light shieldable stripes is 1/20 to 1/2 the spacings between the continuous triangular prism projections and the spacings between the adjacent light shieldable stripes are 1/1 to 1/2 the spacings between the triangular prism projections.
