<p>PURPOSE: To reserve a channel for each node by using a time division cell frame having a prescribed period multiplexed on a ring transmission link in the unit of cells so as to allocate a channel of time division cell frame to each node in a unique way, to attain transmission even when the capacity of the channel allocated to a node is exceeded depending on traffic on the network and to prevent the imposition of any effect onto channels of other nodes. CONSTITUTION: This system is constituted of a drop section 21 extracting a cell addressed to a concerned node from a time division cell frame, a buffer 23 storing cells to be sent and informing number of the stored cells, and an insert section 22 extracting a transmission cell from the buffer and inserting the cell to the time division cell frame and the cells inserted to the time division cell frame are controlled by monitoring the number of cells stored in the buffer.</p> |
