PURPOSE: To prevent a film defect generated due to blowing a dried solid matter sticking to a nozzle of spraying a thin film forming fluid to a face external surface. CONSTITUTION: A thin film forming fluid is sprayed to a face external surface of a cathode-ray tube 12, to rotate it with a tube axis serrving as a rotational axis, so as to form into a uniform applied film the thin film forming fluid sticking to the face external surface by spraying. This applied film is dried to form a thin film in the face external surface. A position of a nozzle 22 for spraying the thin film forming fluid is variable controlled, to make the position of this nozzle 26 different in a process of spraying the thin film forming fluid to the face external surface and in a process of forming the applied film and the thin film. |
