PURPOSE: To complete a video movie function by carrying out the timing and buffer processing to the image/sound compression data through a minidisk I/F part in response to the recording/reproducing speed of a music minidisk and then using this minidisk as a recording medium. CONSTITUTION: When the image/sound compression data are recorded on a minidisk, these data are inputted to sync bit control circuit 33 from a dividing multiplexing circuit 12 in a transfer rate of communication and written into a FIFO 32 as the compressed image data including an added such bit and the sound data series. Then the data are read out of the FIFO 32 by a keyboard 21 via a data timing control circuit 31 and a converter 30 in response to the transfer request given from a controller 29 and then outputted to an output terminal. In a reproduction mode, an operating instruction is inputted from the keyboard 21 and the data read by the controller 29 are written into the FIFO 32 via the converter 30 and the circuit 31 and then read by the circuit 33 with sync separation. Then the data are expanded and compounded by an image codec 15 and a sound codec 19 and then reproduced. |
