PURPOSE: To simplify the constitution of a sound-control-head monitoring device for a VTR and to reduce the number of adjusting processes simultaneously. CONSTITUTION: A synthetic resin part 20 is resin-molded integrally in such a way that a platelike part and a coupling part 25 for a board 100 are rotatable around an opening hole 101 through the opening hole 101, and it is pressed to the board 100 via a head plate 30 by means of a spring 70 which has been inserted into a spring-mounting screw. Respective screw parts 51 for three adjusting screws 50-1 to 50-3 support the head plate 30, and cylindrical parts 52 come into contact with the face of the board 100 via respective through holes 21. The positioning operation with reference to a magnetic-tape transfer direction of a sound control head 40 is performed by inserting an adjusting jig into a part between a cutout part 24 and a protrusion part 104. The adjusting screws 50-1, 50-2 are arranged respectively in the front position and the rear position of the sound control head on a straight line passing the opening hole 101 and the center of the sound control head, the height of the sound control head 40 is adjusted mainly by the adjusting screw 50-1, an angle of inclinationθis adjusted by the adjusting screw 50-2, and an azimuth angle is adjusted by the adjusting screw 50-3.
