PURPOSE: To prevent the error of page designation by easily performing the printing format setting operation of plural discontinuous pages in a short time and confirming the contents of those printing pages on a display together with printing formats. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a printing image generating means 1a for generating a printing image picture for each page by dividing a document to be printed into plural pages based on the set printing format, page designating means 1b for designating the page at one part of the document while displaying a printing format setting picture and for changing that designated page, and display control means 1c for simultaneously displaying the printing image picture of the page designated by this page designating means 1b on the display together with a printing display picture. |
