<p>PURPOSE: To provide a pilot type direction switching valve at a low cost, by using in the same way, for the pilot type direction switching valve having various capacity, a pilot solenoid valve which is small in size and is low in power consumption, and compensating the lack of capacity of the pilot solenoid valve by an amplifying pilot valve simply provided at the low cost. CONSTITUTION: A pilot valve which supplies/discharges pilot air pressure to/from a pilot type direction switching valve 1 having a large quantity main valve 2, consists of a solenoid-driven pilot solenoid valve 3 which is small and requires less consumption electric power, and a fluid pressure driven poppet type amplifying pilot valve 4 which has capacity corresponding to volume in the pilot chamber of the main valve 2 and is driven by pilot fluid from the pilot solenoid valve 3 so that the amplified pilot fluid is supplied/discharged to/from the pilot chamber of the main valve 2.</p> |
