PURPOSE: To simply quantitative-analyze hydrogen peroxide in aqueous solution with the use of an optical analyzing means. CONSTITUTION: Sample solution 8 is provided in a total reflection cell 2, and, measuring beam is poured front an incident optical system 16 for total reflection, so that total reflection absorption spectrum is measured. Based on the absorbance of one of absorption peak positions in the range from 1200-1500cm<-1> to 2600-3000cm<-1> of the spectrum, the determination of hydrogen peroxide in the sample solution is made. |
