PURPOSE: To use a lithium material without any useless consumption by adopting a specific method for the manufacture of a coin type lithium battery using lithium as a negative electrode. CONSTITUTION: The determined amount of lithium liquid 4 is fed to the internal space of a cap 1 forming the negative electrode side of a battery via a nozzle by laying, for example, a guide cylinder 2. Also, a method for drying and solidifying the liquid 4 in the cap is adopted. According to this method, a scrap is not produced as different from the conventional method for punching out a flat lithium plate for feed to the inside of the cap and consequently, the utilization factor of a lithium material is raised to 100%. |
