PURPOSE: To control the charged state of a battery and (or) air-conditioned state of a vehicle from a remote place even in a building, etc. CONSTITUTION: In a telephone control system for an electric automobile in which a motor 38 is driven by a battery 12, the driver of a vehicle inputs a secret code by using sound signals or tone signals from a portable telephone set 75. A telephone controller 28 constituting a car telephone 70 decodes the code and a charging controller 15 and air-conditioner controller 12 start and (or) stop an air-conditioner 31 immediately or after a fixed period of time has elapsed in cooperation with each other under the control of the controller 28. In addition, the controllers 15 and 21 respectively control the charged state of the battery 12 and air-conditioned state of the vehicle. Upon receiving monitoring data from the controllers 15 and 21, the controller 28 informs the monitoring data to the driver by automatically dialing the telephone set 75. |
