PURPOSE: To perform alarming and automatic deceleration at appropriate timings while evading interference by calculating passable car speed based on a distance from a present vehicle position to a temporary present vehicle position set inside a processing execution section and a car speed and judging the passing state of the road based on the passable car speed. CONSTITUTION: A road data calculation means 11 calculates road data in front of a present vehicle as the coordinates of plural nodes, a processing execution section calculation means 13 calculates the processing execution section A based on a route and the distance calculated in a look-ahead distance and stop distance calculation means 12 and a passable car speed calculation means 14 calculates the passable car speed based on the output of a car speed sensor 2. A zone setting means 15 sets a passable zone, an alarm zone and an automatic deceleration zone based on the road data and the passable car speed and a passing state judgement means 16 superimposes the respective zones and the nodes present in the processing execution section A and judges in which zone the nodes of the road in front of the present vehicle are present. |
