THERMAL PROCESSOR FOR ORIGINAL PRINTING PLATE

PURPOSE: To provide a thermal processor for an original printing plate realizing such a thermal developing action that an image is perfectly reproduced by making the heating state of a non-contact part between an original plate and a heating plate identical to a contact part between them. CONSTITUTION: This processor is constituted so that a carrying means 28 pressing and carrying the metallic supporting body of the original photosensitive planographic printing plate 10 by interposing it between a heating means 22 heating the surf ace of the metallic supporting body of the plate 10 is provided with a pressurizing part and a non-pressurizing part which are distributed in prescribed proportion in a vertical direction to the carrying direction of the plate 10. Then, the non-contact part between the plate 10 and the heating means 22 caused by the expansion of the plate 10 occurring when it is heated is made narrow.
