The present invention relates to skin care compositions comprising a skin conditioning agent and a topical carrier for the skin conditioning agent. The skin conditioning agent comprises certain nonocclusive liquid polyol carboxylic acid esters, wherein the ester has a complete melting point of less than about 30 DEG C. These compositions provide excellent skin conditioning benefits.
