<p>An agent against a bacterium belonging to a genus selected from the group consisting of Helicobacter, Campylobacter, Peptostreptococcus, Clostridium, Eubacterium and Bacteroides, antiulcerative agent, anti-stomach cancer agent and composition, which comprises a compound of the formula (I): A-X-R, wherein A is a condensed imidazolyl group having at least one nitro group on the imidazole ring; X is formula (a) in which n is an integer of 0 to 2, or -O-; and R is an optionally substituted hydrocarbon group, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. A compound included in the formula (I) and its preparation and use are also provided.</p> |
