<p>The invention relates to a separator (1) for sheets, in particular breakable sheets such as glass sheets, comprising a strip of honeycomb material (2) which is provided on both sides with a cover layer (3, 4) in which on a side of the separator (1) connecting means are arranged for making a detachable connection with the sheet, in which the connecting means comprise an adhesive layer (6), which is applied to a cover layer (3) of the strip of honeycomb material (2).
