A broadcast transmitter sends energy in the form of broadcast waves (radio waves or microwaves) to a broadcast receiver which converts the broadcast waves into an electrical supply voltage or current for the electrical user. It provides a galvanically separated, wireless power supply for the user. If the user is an electrical sensor, the measurement data of the sensor are also broadcast transmitted. A predetermined carrier frequency is used to transmit energy to a user, and an fm radio signal is used as a control signal.
