PURPOSE: To prevent a semiconductor package from being destroyed by static electricity and avoid a mis-detection at an examination by an image processor by providing a paint layer with specified values of surface resistivity and glossiness at least on the sides of a housing part of a carrier tape. CONSTITUTION: A paint layer 4 is formed at least on sides 1a of a housing part of a thermoplastic synthetic resin sheet 3 and contains 10-50 pts.wt. of conductive particles 4a such as carbon, etc., against 100 pts.wt. of binder resin and 10-40 pts.wt. of filler 4b such as mica, calcium silicate, polyethylene wax, etc., against 100 pts.wt. of carbon particles. Thereby, the dull paint layer having surface resistivity of 10<4> -10<8>Ωand glossiness of 50 or below can be obtained, that prevents a semiconductor package from being destroyed by static electricity and a lead frame from being reflected on the sides 1a of a housing part of a carrier tape when an examination is carried out by an image processor, causing an increase in reliability and a reduction of costs.
