PURPOSE: To effectively suppress the abnormal turn or spin of a vehicle by linking the wheel brake pressure control and rear wheel steering control. CONSTITUTION: When a car body is turned in the undesirable direction or excessively turned, an information processing means 11 judges the wheel brake suitable for suppressing the turn in the undesirable direction or excessive turn and boosts it. When the increase of the wheel brake pressure is determined, a steering instructing means generates the instruction information specifying the steering in the opposite direction to the car body turning direction. A steering control means 70 excites a steering means in response to this instruction information. The moment of the turn in the undesirable direction or the excessive turn is suppressed by the increase of the wheel brake pressure, and it is further suppressed by the steering of the steering means. The abnormal turn or spin of a vehicle is effectively suppressed. |
