PURPOSE: To obtain a gate open/close device consisting of simple constitution at a low cost. CONSTITUTION: This device opens and closes a gate slidably or turnably, and a long-sized movable rod (5) and flexible membrane bodies working the movable rod (5) as a piston are disposed into guide cylinders (4), thus constituting a device body. A door interlocking means is mounted between the movable rod (5) and the door of the gate, and the flexible membrane bodies are composed of central recessed sections (61) on the innermost sides connected at one end of the movable rod (5), annular protruded sections (62) formed around the central recessed sections (61), and connecting sections (63) formed on the outsides of the annular protruded sections (62) and coupled with the base end peripheral edges (41) of the guide cylinders (4). Fluid introducing ports (9) are formed at the base end sections of the guide cylinders (4), and the movable rod (5) is forwarded freely in the axial direction of the guide cylinders (4) while the annular protruded sections (62) are shifted gradually in the direction of pressure by fluid pressure, thus opening and closing the door. |
