DIE CASTING MACHINE AND MULTIPLE-UNIT MANAGEMENT METHOD OF ITS PERIPHERAL DEVICE

PURPOSE: To simplify multiple-unit management of stages by selecting prepd. die casting machines and peripheral devices from plural child programs for individually monitoring and controlling these machines and devices and setting the order of issue in compliance with the desired casting stages. CONSTITUTION: Plural programs rearranged with the individual processing within the casting stage control routines to be repeated at every shot of casting or the processing having the high association therewith are prepd. The necessary child programs are selected according to casting products from these programs and a configuration file to assign the sequence of execution of the selected child programs is formed. The control of the die casting machine 1 of the casting stages and the peripheral devices 2A to 2N is subjected to multi-unit management by a system management computer 4 according to the main program independent from the plural child programs to execute the child programs selected by the configuration file in the assigned sequence. A common data region which can be accessed from the selected child and main programs is disposed.
