PURPOSE: To carry out the automatic angle adjustment and lighten the load of the adjustment work by calculating the angular information of a recognized substance which corresponds to the position of the eye of a driver on the basis of the three-dimensional information of the position of the eye detected by an eye position detecting means and the position of a recognized substance which is memorized by a recognized substance position memory means, and varying the angle by a recognized substance angle varying means. CONSTITUTION: The three-dimensional information XP, YP, ZP of the position of the eye P of a driver D is detected by an eye position detecting means 14, and on the basis of this information and the three-dimensional information xM, yM, zM of the position of a recognized substance M memorized by a recognized substance position memory means 12, the angular informationθM,ϕM of the recognized substance M which corresponds to the position of the eye P is calculated by a recognized substance angle calculating means 16. The angle of the recognized substance M is varied by a recognized substance angle varying means 18 according to this angular informationθM,ϕM. An eye position detecting means 14 is a revolution type potentiometer installed on a room mirror. Each of the recognized substance position memory means 12 and the recognized substance angle calculating means 16 is a microcomputer. Further, the recognized substance angle varying means 18 consists of a lateral direction angle adjusting part and a vertical direction adjusting part.
