PURPOSE: To support an insert in a mold for molding a synthetic resin so as to easily and certainly arrange the insert at the predetermined position in the mold. CONSTITUTION: As a molding method, a method of attaching a vertical support member 5 such as a wire or a string for supporting an insert 3 in a suspended state to the insert and allowing the upper end part of the vertical support member to protrude to the outside of a mold from the through-hole 22 provided to the mold wall just above a vertical support place and bringing the protruding part into engagement with the edge part of the through-hole by a detachable engaging means is employed. A mold is equipped with the through-hole 22 for drawing out the upper end of the vertical support member 5 vertically supporting the insert 3 in the mold B to the outside of the mold. |
