PURPOSE: Not to display and/or print part of a document through easy operation by making the optional part of the document transparent by using a color setting function which displays or prints the contents of the document which is edited. CONSTITUTION: This processor is equipped with a color setting input means 1 which inputs a document and sets colors, an editing process means 2 which edits the inputted document, a display means 3 which displays the document contents, and a printing process means 4 which prints the document; and the color setting input means 1 is enabled to specify transparency for optional part of the document by adding a transparent element to a function which originally sets display/print colors as color setting. Consequently, no original processing means is not provided newly and a mode wherein the optional part of the document is neither displayed nor printed can easily be set by following the same simple procedure as operation for setting display and print colors. Further, the nondisplay and nonprinting mode is specified after the range of the optional part of the document is specified to facilitate the setting. |
