PURPOSE: To reduce the complexity of retrieval by specifying a data by moving a pen point while bringing it into contact with a tablet. CONSTITUTION: A coordinate detecting part 103 detects coordinates pointed out by a pen. A conversion part 104 reads out a corresponding management code from a series of detected coordinates. A series of management codes are written in a management code queue 105 by the conversion part 104. A retrieving part 107 reads out a certain management code from the queue 105, retrieves its corresponding schedule data from a schedule data storing part 106 and displays the retrieved data on a display incorporated type tablet 102.
