Shoulder-mounted support arrangement for mobile or portable telephone apparatus

The support arrangement includes a shoulder-piece (1) which is formed as a U-shaped fork and is connected to the holder (2) of the telephone set (3) by a plastically deformable rod (4). The deformable rod is formed from a number of elements (12) which have male and female ends (13, 14) of complementary size and shape.The holder (2) can be a sucker (18) of silicone type in a plastic surround. The rod has ball-and-socket universal friction joints which are freely deformable but possesses sufficient rigidity to support the telephone in close proximity to an ear.
