PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of edit by securing positional matching of a display document on each split screen pattern thereby improving the operability in the edit and conducting edit interlocking among the split screen patterns in the technology where other split screen pattern is scrolled in interlocking with scrolling to one split screen pattern. CONSTITUTION: Matching parts between document files are detected in advance and position information of each file for the coincident parts is registered in a file management table 6 with cross reference, the position of the other document file matching with the file position displayed as scrolling is discriminated from the table 6 when one split screen pattern is scrolled and the other document file is interlockingly displayed on the other split screen pattern by means of scrolling or jump. Furthermore, the table 6 is used to conduct the same edit made to the document of one split screen pattern for the document of the other split screen pattern. |
