The tractor (1) has nozzles (2) which convey a spray-processing on a current of air to trees or bushes (3). The air jets have upper and lower limits (4,5). The tractor is equipped with sensors (6) which are directed almost parallel to the air currents.The sensors (6) detect light and consist of a lens in a shield with a photoresistance mounted on a printed circuit placed at the focal length of the lens. Changes in the light detected due to the presence or absence of trees or bushes are used to control the air currents bearing the spray treatment.
