PURPOSE: To quickly perform an advance regulation/passage permission by providing an advance direction detector which detects the advancing direction of intrusion/ extrusion of a ticket examination using object in the neighborhood of the entry of a ticket examination path. CONSTITUTION: First to ninth passage detection sensors S1 to S9 are constituted by combining a photoelectric detection sensor and an image detection sensor, and the photoelectric detection sensors are used in the first to fifth passage detection sensors S1 to S5, and the presence/absence of a ticket examination passer passing the ticket examination path is detected by a photoelectrically detecting light projecting/shielding signal. The image detection sensors which detect the travel change state of a person extending in a wide range are used in the sixth to ninth passage detection sensors, and the sixth passage detection sensor S6 is arranged at the front position of a ticket examination machine main body 11, and the seventh to ninth passage detection sensors S7 to S9 are arranged at the position of a side plane along an advancing direction, and a time when the ticket examination passer approaches the entry of the ticket examination path is detected by image detection change at that time, and also, the passage moving direction of the ticket examination passer passing the ticket examination path can be detected. |
