PURPOSE: To prevent occurrence of soundless/imageless interval at the time of exchanging the disc by loading a next disc to a player B before reproduction of a player A is ended and starting the reproduction of player B upon ending reproduction of the player A. CONSTITUTION: A changer and system controllers (C and SC) 7, 8 control the changer/player entirely and actuates a loading mechanism 4 depending on the key operation at a key input section 14 or a remote controller 16. Based on a command delivered through key operation, the mechanism 4 loads a designated disc to a player 5a or 5b from a containing section 3a or 3b and the a designated melody is played by means of a player. When a karaoke disc is not played, the SC 8 controls one player to reproduce a BGM/V disc and to load a next disc to the other player. When one player interrupts reproduction, the SC 8 starts reproduction of the other player thus eliminating the soundless/imageless interval at the time of exchanging the disc. |
