A method for extruding material having a sharp melting point characterised by the steps of: a) extruding the material in a molten state past the first cooling means capable of cooling the molten material to just above the melting point of the material, and b) extruding the now cooled molten material past the second cooling means capable of freezing the molten material so that the material remains substantially intact when removed from the extrusion process. |
