FESI2 THERMOELECTRIC DEVICE AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PURPOSE: To provide a new FeSi2 thermoelectric device which facilitates the substantial reduction of a heat treatment time and its manufacturing method. CONSTITUTION: FeSi2 raw material powder which is so prepared as to have n-type conductivity or p-type conductivity is mixed with binder, degreased, sintered and subjected to a heat treatment to obtain an FeSi2 thermoelectric device. Cu-containing resin in which Cu particles are uniformly dispersed is used as the binder.
